While shopping around Ulta I ended up in the sale/clearance section, and came across this gem! After purchasing the quad, I did a little research and apparently its from the fall 2011 collection. (Yes before even using this I needed to know how to get my hands on a back-up--makeup hoarding problems). The only place I found more available is ebay (here). This seasons collection (here).

Maybelline Plush Eyeshadow Quad in Strut it Suede is a compact palette with four gorgeous pans, and a double ended sponge applicator. As for colors the 1. is a satiny warm beige, 2. metallic taupe (perfect highlight color), 3. beige with golden shimmer, and 4. a deep chocolate brown with a copper base. This palette is gorgeous!! All the colors are incredibly pigmented, and the formula is smooth and blendable!

Overall, this is my go to palette! I prefer it over my UD Naked palette...never thought I'd say that! Since all the colors are neutral this quad is perfect for creating dimensions in your eyes, and making your eyes appear bigger.

  11. Super pretty high pigmented shadows- I've always been a huge fan of shimmery gold/bronze rustic shades! I need to grab one for myself immediately and compare it with the shadow bible (Naked Palette). Those swatches looked so gorgeous, and would so beautifully with a nude lipstick....... <3 Now I'm jealous.
